Searching

Why is it that so many search for God, but refuse to see him before their eyes? Did they choose not to see, or is it hidden from them? Does he hold his hand out to everyone? Or does he only hold it out for so long, or just to some? Do people harden their hearts or does God harden their hearts? So many questions are left unanswered. The Lord is all around us and in us, yet so difficult to see or feel sometime. We must tune into the Lord, but do we do that or does he do that? I find it absolutely intriguing that most people believe in a apocalypse, but refuse to believe that it would be an act of the Lord. Like we as people are all powerful and only we can destroy ourselves. I always ponder the song "Waiting on the World to Change" by John Mayer. You can wait all you want, you can wish you can hope until you are blue in the face, but we are sinful, we as a whole will not change.
